Buy before May 2026 to secure your Season Pass with a $100 deposit, with the remaining balance automatically split into four equal payments.

  • Purchase your pass before January 1, 2026: Pay a $100 deposit upfront and four payments on January 21, February 18, March 18 and April 15, 2026.

  • Purchase your pass between January 1 - January 31, 2026: Pay a $100 deposit upfront and four payments on February 18, March 18, April 15 and May 13, 2026.

  • Purchase your pass between February 1 - February 28, 2026: Pay a $100 deposit upfront and four payments on March 18, April 8, April 29, and May 20, 2026.

  • Purchase your pass between March 1 - March 31, 2026: Pay a $100 deposit upfront and four payments on April 15, April 29, May 13, and May 27, 2026.

Saver: Best value for skiers or boarders who only want to ski Cardrona and are happy to take a break during peak and school holiday periods (blackout period: 06 - 17 July, 2026) . Buy early, as this pass is only available pre-season.

In 2025, we welcomed Soho Basin to Cardrona. A brand-new 6-seater detachable Doppelmayr chairlift and 150ha of new terrain made Cardrona New Zealand's biggest ski resort. The Soho Basin Express opened up playful terrain, awesome snow, amazing steep stuff, and heaps to explore.

Access to this new terrain in Soho Basin is included with all valid Cardrona day passes, multi-day passes, and season passes. There’s no need to purchase an additional ticket - just explore and enjoy!

To secure your pass, you’ll need to pay a $100 deposit upfront. The remaining balance will be equally split into the time between when you paid your deposit and the start of the season. You’ll be contacted with your payment dates when you pay your deposit. Learn more here.

Yes, all guests require a lift pass to access the lifts — but if your child is under 5 years old, their pass is completely free! Book online and visit one of our ticket offices to collect your pass.

Collect your ski pass from our pick-up kiosks. You’ll find them on-mountain in our ticketing office and outside our retail store or pick your pass up before you head up here at our town locations; 50 Cardrona Valley Road in Wānaka or 37 Camp Street in Queenstown.
