Lift Operator
Lift Operators are the mountain's early risers and late leavers, braving the elements to keep our chairlifts running smoothly so you can ride all day. Their reward? First and last tracks when the mountain’s all theirs.
Host
Our Hosts are the friendly faces guests meet first, guiding them from the base to their best day on the mountain. They're the ultimate guest service superstars, whether it’s sharing tips, helping wherever needed, or even suiting up as Pengi (our iconic mascot).
Food & Beverage
At Cardrona, our nine unique cafés and restaurants offer a spot for every foodie. Whether you’re pulling shots as a barista, working front of house, or firing up the kitchen, you’ll find fast-paced roles across the mountain with a team that’s as friendly as it gets.
Rentals
Our Rentals team are the fit experts, helping guests gear up with confidence for their time on the mountain. From first-time skiers to seasoned riders, you’ll guide customers through the fitting process, dial in comfort and performance, and make sure everyone leaves ready for an unforgettable day on snow.
Workshop
Our Workshop team are the precision pros, keeping skis and snowboards performing at their best. From tuning and waxing to edge work and repairs, you’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining top-quality gear and delivering the smooth, reliable ride our guests count on.
Guest Services
Our Guest Services team is spread across the mountains, Wānaka, and Queenstown, handling bookings, answering questions, and helping guests plan their day. They’re the champions of first impressions, always ready to ensure every guest is fired up before they arrive.
GoldX Events Crew
Our GoldX Events crew runs some of the Southern Hemisphere's biggest snow events, like the Winter Games NZ and the Jossi Wells Invitational. Known as ‘Events Ninjas’ in their all-black gear, they work hard, play hard, and are on the mountain from dawn till dusk.
Retail
Our Retail team are across five locations—on the mountains, in Wānaka and Queenstown, and online—where they know Cardrona gear inside out. They’re always ready to help you look and feel your best and most confident, from on-snow fashion to the latest hardware.
Ski Patrol
Our Ski Patrol team are the mountain’s heroes, always ready with their top-notch skills and experience. Supported by the Slope Safety Crew, they’re out early on powder days and ensure everyone follows the Snow Safety Code to keep us all protected.
