The Green Steam x POW Day x The Funk Royale
Join us for an action-packed day featuring The Green Steam, POW (Protect Our Winters), and live music from The Funk Royale! The Green Steam is a fun, social group ride, not a race. Departing from Kai Whakapai, riders will cycle up the Treble Cone access road before skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or hiking to the summit.
There will be plenty happening at Treble Cone throughout the day:
• Sustainability POW Zone showcasing our environmental projects and ways you can help
• Scavenger Hunt from 10:00am–1:00pm, with prizes to be won
• Prizes for guests who carpool
• Group photo with the Green Steam riders
• Live music from seven-piece funk band The Funk Royale on the Sun Deck
To join the Green Steam, please become a member of Protect Our Winters New Zealand. Membership helps grow the movement and strengthens its voice for climate action.
