Ngā Wāhine ō te Maunga is a relaxed, fun event where ladies can learn some tips on any style of riding from female Cardrona instructors and some of New Zealand’s female pro skiers and snowboarders. It’s about finding new shred buddies, learning new things, and having a blast on the mountain. Join us for one day of the weekend, or both!
Saturday: Cardrona
A day of group lessons with our female instructors, group riding and learning focus.
Sunday: Choose Cardrona or Treble Cone
Intermediate and above skiers/snowboarders can choose a specialist focus - steeps, off-piste, and big mountain confidence at Treble Cone, or terrain park at Cardrona. Morning session will be with our female instructors, and the afternoon will be a group shred with female pro skiers and riders!
Beginner level skiers/snowboarders will run the same programme as Saturday, at Cardrona - full day group lessons.
Sunday 4.30pm - gather for drinks, nibbles and prizes at Après Wānaka (50 Cardrona Valley Rd).
Pre-bookings are essential so we can confirm numbers and instructors for the day. The event is $50 for one day, $75 for both days and all funds go to the All In Cardrona Foundation project.
Lift passes must be purchased separately.
Thanks to The North Face for their support of this event.
