Hints and Tips
What’s on: Spring has Sprung
Discover the latest events, activities, weather and more at Cardrona and Treble Cone. There's always something exciting happening on the mountains!
Last updated 10 September
After some wild weather at Cardrona and Treble Cone, we've been rewarded with excellent conditions, blue bird days, and some of the best cord all season. Vibes are running seriously high on the mountain - a real taste of spring to come.
Both mountains are alive with events. The Jossi Wells Invitational carries into the weekend following a super successful Red Bull Rail Riot in Wānaka, kicking off with Mini Pipe on Saturday.
There's only three weeks left at Treble Cone, and it's the best it's been all season - epic coverage across the mountain and heaps of events on, from The Annual Green Steam to Funk Royale playing live., and a dress up day with Out & About. If you're heading up to TC on Friday, swing by our WAI x Treble Cone community carwash from 1-4pm. Look out for the free carwash signs at the bottom of the access road, support a great cause, and learn more about how we can protect our waterways from stormwater pollution.
Conditions are changing daily, so keep the Snow Report bookmarked and refreshed - this weekend has got a bit of everything coming through.

Weather
Friday, Sept 11: Snow showers throughout the day, winds up to 50km/h. High -2°C
Saturday, Sept 12: Snow showers easing to light snow, building to heavy snow overnight, winds up to 47km/h. High -1°C
Sunday, Sept 13: Heavy snow easing to showers, winds easing to 30km/h. High 0°C
Snow showers roll through on Friday, with fresh westerlies keeping things brisk up on the hill. Saturday starts light before building to a heavier overnight fall - that pesky wind isn't going anywhere just yet. Sunday eases back to showers as the wind finally starts to drop off. Three very different days, so dress for all of them and keep the Snow Report close.

Food and Beverage Highlights
TC Cafe and Bar: The breakfast burritos are famous for a reason. Best for a swift and tasty refuel so you can get back on the slopes faster.
The View at TC: Best views, the best food and that feeling you only get at 1600m.
The Mezz: Quality restaurant eats if you're after a slower start. Best benny in the district (we’re not biased).
Captain’s Pizzeria: It is spring beers on the deck season! Ski-in / ski-out eatery with some of the best views on the mountain, a fully stocked bar and Cardrona-famous pizza.
Base Café: Daily ‘mountain meals’ with plenty of savoury and sweet cabinet treats that keep energy levels up, Base Café is a great pit stop to fill up when you’re on the go.
Terrain Parks
All parks are open, with the team working on adding and swapping new features. Both of our halfpipes are now open! The 22ft Super Pipe and the International Halfpipe, otherwise known as the People's Pipe.
